What we measure

BBB accreditation is meaningful for traditional small businesses — home services, contractors, finance — and less so for SaaS and tech. Where it matters, it's a strong trust signal.

How to improve your score

Apply at bbb.org. Accreditation requires meeting standards and paying an annual fee, but the badge moves the needle for relevant verticals.

Scoring
