What we measure

These tags tell Google, Facebook, X, and other platforms how to display your site when shared. Without them, you get whatever default the platform decides.

How to improve your score

Set unique `<title>` (50-60 chars), `<meta name="description">` (150-160 chars), Open Graph tags (`og:title`, `og:description`, `og:image`), Twitter cards, and a `<link rel="canonical">` on every page. WordPress: install Yoast or Rank Math.

Data source for this factor is not yet documented.

Scoring

Scoring formulas are versioned with the methodology. The current method (v1.1.0) maps raw measurements to pass, warn, fail. Factor weights determine how much each contributes to the composite — see the methodology index for the full table.
